BAH! BERSUNGKAI KITA AT PAN BORNEO HOTEL KOTA KINABALU

This Ramadhan, Pan Borneo Hotel Kota Kinabalu invites guests to "berbuka Puasa" over a great selection of international and traditional favorites with action stalls from 2 May to 2 June 2019. The buffet spread, prepared by Executive Chef Alex Zee and his team of dedicated chefs is priced at RM88nett per adult and RM68nett per child.


During this promotion, guests can indulge in a variety of international and traditional delights from lamb briyani, assorted meat skewer, honey lamb, satays, fish curry, stir fried prawn with salted egg yolk, beef rending, appetizers and desserts, and one can quench their thirst with ABC and variety of beverages offering. A designated prayer rooms are also provided for the guests' convenience.

A RAMADHAN TREAT FOR THE UNDERPRIVILLAGED CHILDREN AT PAN BORNEO HOTEL KOTA KINABALU

In conjunction with the holy month of Ramadhan, Pan Borneo Hotel, Putatan hosted 41 underprivileged and needy children from both Rumah Anak Yatim AS Sakinah and Akademi Tahfiz & llmu Al Quran, Putatan. This annual charity event was held on Wednesday, 8 May 2019 as part of Pan Borneo Hotel Kota Kinabalu's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme in our effort in giving back to the community and to the less fortunate.

The children aged between seven to fifteen years old who are mainly from poor families and some orphans were also accompanied by their guardians and teachers during the dinner event.
The event started off with the doa recitation lead by Ustaz Syukri from the Akademi Tahfiz. The evening then continued with the breaking of fast where the children indulged in buah kurma before heading for the Maghrib prayers. After the prayers, the children were treated to a SUmPtUOUS spread of more than 1 50 international and traditional delicacies prepared by Executive Chef Alex Zee and his team.

The hotel director of sales and marketing, Natalia Nadirah Saiman welcomed the 41 boys and girls at the hotel's restaurant, The Coffee House together with the hotel staff. Also present during the event to welcome the children was the hotel general manager, Liew Kui Fah and the management team.
"Our team believes in the spirit of sharing especially during a festive occasion like this", said Natalia during her welcoming speech. She also added that the main objective is to bring cheer and have the less fortunate children to be a part of a wonderful festive celebration during this special month of sharing and caring among others.


The evening ended with handing out duit raya by the hotel management to all 41 children. After a group photograph session, the kids with their guardians and teachers made their way home with smiles on their faces.
